MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES
DRAWING - PENCIL/PEN/COLORED PENCIL
GRADES 4-8

Take your drawing skills to the next level as you work with different drawing media. Learn to blend tones, layer color, and work on creating natural shadows to create depth in your artwork. The emphasis for this class is to develop confidence in drawing skills while being creative and having fun. Students have the opportunity to work at their own level. Class discussions, demonstrations, and plenty of individual guidance will be given.
Students are asked to bring a sketchbook to class each week (approx. 9”x12” size). All other supplies are provided.
ACRYLIC PAINTING
GRADES 4-8

Fee $110
Explore painting techniques and brush handling while developing your painting skills in a relaxed studio setting. Group discussions and class demonstrations will give students opportunities to observe painting techniques and start collecting ideas for their own artwork. Individual instruction will be provided as each student is encouraged to work creatively at their own pace.
The emphasis for this class is to develop confidence in painting skills while being creative and having fun.
All supplies are provided, however, you might like to bring an older shirt for painting.
SPRING/MOTHERS' DAY THEME

Seasonal acrylic painting classes are designed for a child and their special adult to experience an evening of fun and creativity together as they engage in painting a one of a kind piece of artwork to take home. A theme is provided with many possibilities up to the students’ imaginations. Instruction with ideas to get started, supplies, and individual guidance is given as needed for a successful and enjoyable class in our relaxing art studio.

*Class Fee: $35 for each “couple” includes one canvas and all supplies. If you would each like to paint your own canvas or you would like to add on another person to your group, you may do so. There is an additional charge of $10 to add another person and $10 for each additional canvas.
